The D.C. Council is expected to introduce a beverage container deposit bill next week. Among the groups supporting the bill is the D.C. chapter of Sierra Club. The club’s Zero Waste Committee has scheduled a virtual meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, to provide information on the bill and encourage support for its adoption.
